Kieran is a certified K9 Water Leak Detection dog and German Shorthaired Pointer with a passion for solving problems and using his nose. As part of the Vickery K9 team, he helps locate underground treated water leaks, supporting utilities, municipalities, and infrastructure professionals in conserving one of our most valuable resources.

Kieran’s confidence, persistence, and enthusiasm make him well suited for detection work, where every search presents a new puzzle to solve. Whether working on leak detection deployments, training, or demonstrations, Kieran approaches every task with intensity and curiosity.

Outside of detection, Kieran competes in a variety of dog sports, and has even made a brief appearance in Hulu's Murdaugh: Death in the Family. His versatility reflects the incredible capabilities of well trained detection dogs and the strong partnership they build with their handlers.

Kieran represents the growing role of K9 Water Leak Detection in helping utilities locate hidden leaks more efficiently while showcasing what detection dogs are capable of beyond traditional working roles.

Meghan Bodie is the founder of Vickery K9 and operates Georgia's first certified K9 Water Leak Detection Team. As a professional dog trainer, detection dog handler, educator, and consultant, she specializes in detection dog training and development, nosework, and K9 Water Leak Detection while helping handlers build the knowledge and confidence to succeed. Through Vickery K9, she provides training, consulting, and coaching for working dog teams, sport competitors, and pet owners while also helping utilities locate underground treated water leaks using highly trained detection dogs.
