Vickery K9 must have a current Dog Information Form on file annually for each participating dog.

Private training clients are also required to complete the Private Training Agreement prior to their first session.

Group class clients complete applicable policies and agreements during registration and do not need to complete the separate Private Training Agreement unless otherwise instructed.

Training services must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Payment reserves your appointment or class space.

Dogs participating in training services must be in appropriate health for the activities being performed and free from known or suspected contagious illness. Please do not bring a dog to training if they are showing signs of contagious illness, including vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, or other symptoms that could pose a risk to other dogs.

Vickery K9 recommends dogs be current on vaccinations appropriate for participation in training environments, including rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, as recommended by your veterinarian. Puppies who have not yet completed their full vaccination series may participate in appropriate training activities at the trainer’s discretion.

Owners are responsible for informing their trainer of any injury, illness, physical limitation, or other health consideration that may affect their dog’s ability to safely participate in training.

Vickery K9 reserves the right to deny participation, modify training activities, or remove any dog from training services if the dog appears ill, is physically unable to safely participate, or may pose a health risk to other dogs or participants.

Owners are responsible for maintaining control of their dogs at all times and for following all handling and safety instructions during training.

Please disclose any behavioral concerns, bite history, reactivity, physical limitations, or other considerations that may affect your dog’s ability to safely participate in training so appropriate accommodations can be discussed.

Training activities and exercises may be modified at your trainer’s discretion based on your dog’s behavior, physical condition, skill level, training needs, or safety considerations. Your trainer may modify or discontinue an activity if continuing would be unsafe or inappropriate for the dog, handler, trainer, or others present. Changes to planned training activities made for safety, welfare, or training purposes do not constitute a cancellation and are not grounds for a refund, credit, or makeup.

Vickery K9 reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for dogs or handlers whose behavior is unsafe or inappropriate for the training environment.

Dog training is an ongoing process, and results vary based on many factors including consistency, environment, handling skills, and follow-through outside of scheduled sessions.

Vickery K9 does not guarantee specific behavioral or training outcomes.

For in-home or off-site training sessions, owners are responsible for providing a reasonably safe training environment and disclosing any relevant safety concerns or household animals prior to the session.

Training sessions may occasionally be photographed or recorded for educational or promotional purposes. If you prefer that you or your dog not appear in public media, please notify Vickery K9 in writing.

Changes made 48 hours or more before the scheduled appointment will receive a full credit toward a future training service.

No credits or refunds will be issued for cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

A full credit will be issued if a cancellation request is received at least 7 days prior to the start of the first class.

A 75% credit may be issued for cancellation requests received at least 72 hours prior to the first class, only if the spot can be filled by another team.

No refunds or credits will be issued after this time.

Because class sizes are intentionally limited, make-up sessions are not available for missed classes.

Failure to attend a scheduled lesson or class without prior notice will be considered a no-show, and the session will be forfeited with no refund or credit issued.

Lessons and classes begin and end at their scheduled times. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time and will not be extended. No partial refunds, credits, or makeups will be provided for time missed.

For group classes or other training activities where late entry may be disruptive or create a safety concern, late arrivals may not be admitted and the missed class will not be eligible for a refund, credit, or makeup.

If you are running late for a private lesson, please contact your trainer as soon as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a no-show and forfeited. Your trainer is not required to remain on-site beyond that time, and the appointment will not be eligible for a refund, credit, or makeup.

Training is held in a variety of weather conditions, including rain (when thunder and lightning are not present), cold, and heat. Please come appropriately prepared for the forecasted conditions. This includes bringing any supplies or equipment necessary to keep yourself and your dog adequately cool, warm, dry, hydrated, and comfortable throughout training.

Unless you are contacted by your trainer and notified otherwise, your class or lesson will take place as scheduled. Our standard cancellation policy applies to client cancellations due to weather unless your trainer has determined that training cannot safely proceed. If you or your dog have specific weather-related limitations, please review the forecast in advance and make any necessary cancellation or rescheduling decisions within the standard cancellation window.

If weather conditions are unsafe for training as planned, your trainer will adjust training as necessary. Adjustments may include moving the class or lesson indoors, modifying the planned activities, or postponing to a later date. Weather-related modifications to the location or planned activities do not constitute a cancellation and are not grounds for a refund or additional makeup. Your trainer will contact you if a class or lesson must be postponed.

For our outdoor group classes, a rain makeup date is built into the class schedule. Please make sure to keep this date and time available in your calendar. No additional makeups or refunds will be offered if we are required to move a class to the scheduled makeup date due to weather.

When eligible under the cancellation policies above, a credit means the amount already paid will remain available on your Vickery K9 account and may be applied toward a future training service, class, or appointment.

Credits may be issued for qualifying cancellations or rescheduled appointments made within the timelines outlined above. Credits are not cash refunds and cannot be transferred to another person.

Credits must be used within 3 months of the originally scheduled service date.
